Additional Information

General
WIFE AND COACH
After parting ways with his long-time coach Davian Clarke in 2018, he began working with his wife Samantha as his coach. "Samantha just recently started coaching about two years ago [speaking in 2020] after me and my previous coach separated. Then, I started picking up my wife. It's been going great. Having my wife being my actual coach and her having more knowledge than I do in hurdles, it's even better." (tribune, 25 Dec 2020)

DUAL NATIONALITY
He has dual nationality with the United States of America and the Philippines, but chose to represent the Philippines following encouragement from his mother. The International Association of Athletics Federations [IAAF] approved his application in 2013. (mb, 18 Dec 2013; pinoyathletics, 07 Aug 2013; inquirer, 20 Jul 2013)

FURTHER EDUCATION
He has also studied for a master's degree in human relations at the University of Oklahoma in Norman, OK, United States of America. (mb, 18 Dec 2013)
