His brothers Jun Long, Liang Chan and Aolong have all represented Macau, China in wushu at the world championships or Asian Games. Liang Chan won gold in the -70kg division at the 2007 World Championships in Beijing, People's Republic of China, while Jun Long placed second in the -65kg division at the 2009 edition in Toronto, ON, Canada.
