She had to quit shooting in 2009 when she moved to Australia with her family. However, while visiting Malaysia the following year, she was drafted into the Terengganu team for the 2010 Sukma Games in Melaka, Malaysia, and won gold in the 25m pistol event. She moved back to Malaysia in 2011. "In Australia I wasn't able to shoot because I was not a citizen there and it was not easy to get a shooting license. Not being able to do something you're passionate about is really hard, I missed it so much. Then I came back and was asked to join the team. That reignited my career."
